Dedicated to the memory of Sandy
This site is a tribute to Sandy Colby, BA(Hons), BSc, MA, born Nuneaton, 1952, died Leicester 2019, from cancers which she bravely fought through an extensive series of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
She was always doing more, reading more, studying more, and sewing more. She gained three degrees and qualified as a judge for Quilters Guild, finishing that whilst receiving chemotherapy.
The photo was taken at Botallack Arsenic Calciner while we were doing fieldwork in 2006.

This money was collected at the end of term events in memory of Sandy by the school she taught at for three years. I am very grateful to them for doing this.
